Tuscany Wine Company, Cacciagrande.

Only 10 km away from the medieval sea-town of Castiglione della Pescaia, among the wild and striking hills of the maquis, the wine farm CACCIAGRANDE is waiting for you with its wine production. You’ll enjoy the colours and the flavours born between the village of Tirli and the famous Etrurian site of Vetulonia, in the very heart of the Tuscan Maremma.

“La produzione della Famiglia Tuccio coniuga cura formale ed espressione varietale…”           – VINI D’ITALIA 2015 –

A high quality work and excellent outcomes

Owned by the Tuccio family, the farm extends for 40 ha, 18 of which are cultivated as a vineyard and 4 as an olive grove, and it is the outcome of a long and hard land reorganization and a true passion for agriculture.
The vineyards, according to our philosophy, show a double element: on one hand the ancient Tuscan wine tradition represented by the Sangiovese vine, present in 4 different clones to increase the organoleptic complexity; on the other the prestigious innovations brought by big international vines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot e Viognier.

Being a family business it is easier to adopt a particular care and attention both in the agronomic management system of the facilities and in the wine-making process; the great viticultural vocation of the Maremma territory, the hot and dry microclimate, the choice of the best clones, the long steeping at controlled temperature and our great passion do the rest, contributing to the production of wines that have great character, elegance and top quality. The farm is always open with its welcoming point for wine tasting and visits to the vineyards. Contact us to book a visit with tasting.
